World Maitreya Karuna Foundation Australia (Wmkfa)

World Maitreya Karuna Foundation Australia (Wmkfa) is a compassionate and values-driven organisation dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of those in need. Inaugurated by Geshe Tenzin Demchok in 2002 and blessed by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Wmkfa focuses on helping individuals and communities facing poverty, sickness, distress, and general misfortune. With branches in India, the USA, Japan, and Australia, their work has received worldwide recognition. Aligning themselves with three main goals, Wmkfa promotes unity amongst different religions and beliefs, preserves endangered cultural heritages globally, and directly assists those who are poor, sick, and suffering. Wmkfa also supports Tibetan refugees in Australia and poor Tibetan monks from the Dakpa Khangtsen Drepung Loseling Monastery in South India. Joining Wmkfa means being a part of an organisation that envisions establishing a spiritual center and monastery in the Byron Bay region of NSW, Australia, providing a sanctuary for both visitors and residents in need. Here, you will not only be contributing to the betterment of individuals and communities but also working towards the promotion of world peace and cultural preservation. Be part of an inspiring team that strives to create positive changes both locally and globally.
